I tried using the build's saved games in the editor after renaming them, but they don't work. Actually, they seem to be using data from the editor's saved games, even after deleting them. What's certain is that the build's games don't show up despite renaming them. Am I missing something?

Renaming, as in adding "_Editor" to the filenames?
If Use '_Editor' prefix for Editor save files? is checked in the Settings Manager, then the Editor will have its own saves that use this name-change. However, the Profile data (which records what saves exist and other Options data) also has its own "_Editor" key.
Using Build saves in the Editor should just be a case of unchecking the above option, so that it doesn't look for "_Editor"-specific filenames.
Sweet! Though the saved names in the build don't match up (the data does though). In the editor I just see Save 1, 2... and the date.
