How to enable the new Input Manager integration

Hi

I've downloaded the Input Manager integration from the Downloads page and imported it to my project. But I can't find any docs for it, either in the manual or in the folder structure.

Is there anything that needs doing to make it work? The Inputs shown in the Settings still appear to relate to the old Input manager, and if I remove an input from the old input manager, say the Run input, then it stops, regardless of whether Sprint or Run is configured in the new Input Manager.

Feels like I should be enabling something, but can't see it.

Any ideas?

  • Don't import the Downloads package - the latest version of this is included within AC itself.

    If you imported, remove the /AdventureCreator/Downloads/Input sytem folder, and then use the New Game Wizard's "Modify existing" option to import it as a Template.

  • Thanks. And then do I replace the existing EventSystem object in the scenes with the new EventSystem_InputSystem prefab?

  • The template will install a new EventSystem prefab in the Menu Manager - the ones in your scene should be removed.
