I’ve finally finished the translation work, and thanks to AC Creator, The Darkest Dusk is now available in 7 languages! English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, German, Portuguese, and French.

nice feeling in your game play video. beautiful!
Thank you! Very much appreciated!
This looks great! I can't wait to play it over the holidays. Just out of curiosity, how did you handle all the translations? My game is in English and Japanese (I live in Japan) and I had a long and hard struggle getting the Japanese to convey the nuance. My Japanese wife helped a lot, but anyway it wasn't easy, so I'd like to hear how you tackled 7 of them (especially Japanese)
To make the game took me about 3 months, to make the translations 4 months, I google translated it until seemed ok. I hope there are no big mistakes in complex languages as the Japanese. I have been working in Japan for a year, lovely country, best year of my life. Thanks for the kind message. Greetings
JJthePeep, congrats for Estoria on Steam btw. lovely game!
Thanks a lot! Congratulations to you too.
Japan really is a lovely country, but yeah, the language is a beast! Thanks for the info on how you handled the translations. I was thinking to add more than just English and Japanese, so it's good to know how you did yours.
Happy Holidays! (If you get a chance, I recommend Toyama. We've got snowy alpine mountains and rugged coast and some of the freshest sushi in Japan ;-)
