Hi,
I have tried using the "Slow movement near walls?" feature in a 3D blank AC project, but it seems like my setup is not working.
Direct Controls;
Added 3d rigid body and Capsule collider to the player;
Added box collider to wall;
Created "Wall" layer and set the wall object to use it;
Specified "Wall" as wall layer on the player prefab;
Toggled "Slow movement near walls?" feature on player;
Using Unity 6000.0.34f1 and AC 1.83.0.
Can you help me, pls?

I'm afraid there's a bug related to the way this feature works in the current AC release.
It's been reported, and an official fix will be included in the next update.
In the meantime, you can find a temporary fix in my reply to this thread.
