Destroying Child Object After Saving

Hello,

I think I discovered a possible bug (Maybe)
I have an object with remember transform script attached to it. When saving > then destroying the object > then loading it works fine and the object is back before being destroyed. However, when I attach a child object inside the parent object and add remember transform script to it then destroy that child, it will not save the state of the object. When loading, the object remains destroyed.

[Save change in parent, save scene presence and retain prefab all checked.]
Prefab is stored in the resource folder.

  • If you need to save the presence of the parent object, avoid doing the same thing for the child. AC can only re-spawn the entire prefab - not part of it based on destroyed child objects.

    That said, if the object is part of the scene file, you could try checking Always reload scene when loading a save file? in the Settings Manager, as this will force a reload of the scene where the object is originally present.
