Texting UI?

I want to create a dialogue mechanic in my game that is basically a recreation of texting someone on a phone. The player would be given multiple statements/responses to choose from, but whichever one they choose, it would remain in a text bubble as the text moves up the screen just like the texting screen on smartphones. So obviously the NPC responses would move up the screen in the same way. I hope I explained that well enough. Is it possible to do this in AC with little-to-no scripting?? 🙏

    It sounds like the "Chat Log" template over on the Downloads page is your best bet - at least as a starting point.

    This template allows speech and Conversation options to appear in a single text box. Though it was designed more with the dialogue system of e.g. Disco Elysium in mind, you should be able to adapt it to be more like a phone-texting system mainly by restyling its appearance, which is based on TextMesh Pro.
