Using timers in gui

I'm trying to create a minigame where the player has to know the correct item and it's material. There should be two timers that shows time running out. There's couple of blue balls in the pic, I have an idea of a pie chart style timer that rolls out with time. Is there a texture swapping method in Action lists? Or should I have all materials set under masked item and control their visibilities?

I first wanted to create this a timed dialogue, but tester didn't like it.

  • Or should I create menu elements and then turn them on/off accordingly?

  • As each item has both a pic and a label, you might be best off with Inventory items in a dedicated category that's hidden from your regular Inventory menu. That way, you can add/remove items to show/hide them as needed.
