ActiveInputs Disabling Save Feature

I recently switch to using ActiveInputs for calling up the Pause menu as using the default "On Input Key" was causing behaviour issues when closing menus (cursor not locking).

The only problem I have now is that when using ActiveInputs, the menu opens perfectly fine, but the "save" menu item is disabled? There are no changes between the action lists that were running before and are running now.

Does anyone have ideas on what may be happening?

  • The Pause menu's Save button auto-hides itself if saving is not possible at the time - which is normally due to a gameplay-blocking ActionList running at the time the menu opens.

    What are your ActionList asset's Properties? Try setting its When running field to Run In Background.
