Swapping Joystick Controls and Direct Keyboard controls at runtime?

Hi, I'm trying to have my game automatically use the Joystick Template Controls or the Direct Controls when playing in WebGL when using the Engine->Check Platforms, but I can't find way to assign the Touch Screen controls in the options.

What's the way to achieve this?

  • Which field(s) specifically are you looking to control?

    To affect the Settings Manager's "Input method", you'll need a custom script to handle this - but you can call your custom function as part of your ActionList. A tutorial on this topic can be found here.

  • Hi Chris; I ended up just swapping the settings for the builds. It was easier that way
