"Combining" objects NOT in inventory

Hello-

I have searched both the manual and the forums for answers, but since I don't really know what to call it, I'm hoping you can help me with one last thing to officially complete my game! :smile:

I have a couple of objects that I want to combine directly with a hotspot in a scene without having to put them in inventory first. One of them is a torch which can be lit be a fire (in that same scene). I would like to set up a way for players to bypass the inventory if they wish; is there a way for them to just drag the torch directly from the spot where they found it on to the fire to light it?

I don't know anything about scripts, so if that's the only way, I'll need lots of hand-holding.

    The Inventory: Select Action can be used to select a specific Item. This includes an option to ignore the Player's actual inventory - you can use it to cause the torch to become selected without it being added.
