Objective Menu - Add / Remove?

Hi there,

I'd like to create a simple objective system in which several objectives are present on each page. Once completed, these objectives would either be crossed out or have a checkbox next to them. I referenced this post (https://adventurecreator.org/forum/discussion/10705/using-ac-objectives), but I still can't figure out how to add an objective during gameplay. For example, if a player clicks a hotspot, I want a new objective to be added to the menu, similar to a player adding a new task. Any advice would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

  • Objectives are defined in the "Objectives" tab of the Inventory Manager.

    Objectives work by having a series of "states" - of which only one is active at a time. By default, these are Started and Completed - but you can define more in the Manager.

    Adding an Objective during gameplay is then a case of changing its State - which can be done with the Objective: Change state Action.
