Shift inventory when one is removed

Hello, helpful creators!

I have an inventory box that slides open on hover. Players collect items throughout the game, and end up using them throughout the various scenes, meaning that they can collect and use items in any order. Is there a simple way for me to have the remaining inventory items shift up (or down) to fill the empty spaces when an item is removed or used?

I don't know anything about scripting at all, so the simpler the instructions the better. :smile:

  • Do you have Items can be re-ordered in Menus? unchecked in the Settings Manager's "Inventory settings" panel? If unchecked, empty slots should be removed automatically.

    If checked, is this otherwise necessary for your game's design? If you can share details and screenshots, I can advise on how to mix these two behaviours.
