In creating the 2d character such as the Brain2d used in the demo , many images are used of him facing many directions. Such as Walk_D1, Walk_D2..... , Walk_DL1, Walk_DL2....
I was wondering what tools are best to create all the images. Is a 3d character used then maybe a snapshot images made in a 3d application for each position. Seems like a lot of work and interested to hear others workflow for this.

I didn't finish because it's really laborious, can't imagine actually drawing all these by hand.
You can also use Unity but it's not automatic unless you have pro maybe?
I since found I could batch process in Irfanview, it crops and resizes in the same batch.

Except you can get many more fbx animations into Unity (all of them) than Blender (cinema mocap only)
