character is moving left and right, but not up and down.

I changed to 3d mode after 2d check but still
It only moves left and right.
Edit > Project Settings > Default Behavior Mode >2d=3d
Main Camera 2d > 3d change try

This behaviour will occur if your game's Camera perspective field is set to 3D. Are any messages related to this appearing in the Console window when running the game?
This is not a Unity option - see the "Camera settings" panel inside AC's Settings Manager. For 2D games, set this field to 2D, and the Moving and turning field below to Unity 2D.
If the issue persists, share screenshots of your Settings and Scene Managers, and I'll try to see what's what.
