Makes Player Run ignoring Walk-to Marker on hotspot

Hi Chris.

I just noticed that when I double click on a hotspot with a Walk-to marker defined, the player runs to the point where I've clicked instead of running to the marker.
When single clicking it works fine, walking to the defined Walk-to marker.

I recently updated to v1.75.6 and I am using Point And Click as movement method, Mouse and Keyboard as Input method.
In the general movement settings I have the Doube-click movement set to Makes Player Run.

This is my hotspot

At first I thought about the accuracy settings, but no matter where I move the marker, I have the same issue.

Any suggestions?

And thank you for that awesome tool!

  • Welcome to the community, @Flics.

I'm afraid I can't recreate the issue - the Player should always move to the Walk-to Marker, regardless of speed.

Does this occur if you switch your Movement method to Direct?

  • Thanks @ChrisIceBox!

So I switched to Direct and then the player didn't run to the hotspot. Then I also switched to Context Sensitive (with Direct) and it worked as intended: running to the marker. After that I switched back to "Point and Click" and "Choose Hotspot Then Interaction" as before, and everything is working fine. I can't seem to recreate the issue again.

It bothers me not understanding why, but I guess it fixed itself.
    Thanks for your time Chris!
