So I have expressions in my dialog boxes using the shapeable script. I also set them in the expression shape group in the player script. My question is there a way to transition the expressions in the dialog boxes nstead of them just changing instantly?
For example, in my action list;
[expression:Smile] random dialog here 1
[expression:Smile] random dialog here 2
[expression:Sneer] random dialog here 3
When the expression changes from smile to sneer, it's instant, it doesn't have a Transition time value like in the Object:Blendshape action. Is there a way to set a transition time?
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

It should be a very short transition of 0.2s, rather than instant.
Open up AnimationEngine_Mecanim and find the mentions of "0.2f" in its OnSetExpression function - if you increase these to e.g. "1.0f", does that increase the transition time?
If you rely on Timeline for your sequences, it's also possible to do away with expresion tokens and instead use additive Animation tracks in-line with AC Speech tracks.
I changed it to 0.75 and its transitioning well now.
What do you mean by Timeline?
Unity's Timeline sequencing tool.
That sounds great. Is there a tutorial on that?
