URP difficulties - (I've read and followed previous tutorials)

Morning guys and gals, are there any threads on here or support on getting URP to work in AC? So far in following the tutorials and AC posts on UP, but I am at a position where my 2d point light in scene just illuminates everything as if I never bothered implementing URP. And when the point light is not in the scene it is completely black. Anyone got any pointers? thanks!

This is for the Unity forums - AC will not be a factor in how URP lights affect sprites in a 2D scene.
