ActionList parameter variable

edited May 2021 in Technical Q&A

Hi!

EDIT: Sorry I totally missed that a section in the tutorial is about this. Please delete this post.

I'm new to AC (seems like a really great asset!) and I'm trying to recreate the "back" button from the tutorial but making a universal actionlist that I can use multiple times in the same scene or in different scenes.

I'm having a little trouble understanding how to pass data to the menu like which camera to use when zoomed in and which camera restore to after, etc. I was thinking that maybe I should create global variables that holds these values and then reference that global variable in the actionlist parameter. But when I choose "Global variable" as type in the actionlist parameter I cant select the value from my "switch camera" action like I could when the parameter type is gameobject.

What is a good way to implement this?

All the best!
