I believe this is more a Unity issue than strictly an AC one however normally gizmos like hotspot and trigger volumes can be obscured by scene geometry like so:
However in a different scene they're rendering completely differently and I don't understand why:
Has anyone else experienced this?

I've narrowed it down to it occuring due to when a post-processing component on a standard Unity camera is active. This is a known issue:

Though it's a Unity issue, do bear in mind that you can quickly hide/show all AC gizmos from the Scene Manager's "Visibility" panel.
