Has anyone been able to get jumping to work with the first person controller without a rigid body?
I am thinking the easiest way to do it at the moment is to animate the camera on pressing the spacebar, even though this is not 'true' jumping.
Other than that may need to delve into customising the player controls via code.

The built-in jumping system does require a Rigidbody, but it's possible to incorporate other first-person assets.
