(I'm on v1.69.0)
I'm doing a basic "Character: Switch Portrait" to change the portrait graphic for the Player. However the new portrait graphic change doesn't save when the character visits a different scene but reverts to the original.
Both the original and new portraits are saved in Assets > "Resources" (though that may relate to saving and loading games, not persistence between scenes). I assume there's a simple explanation, thanks. Do I need to use a variable?

Is the Player persistent, i.e. you're not using local Player objects saved within the scene file?
I can't recreate this issue in the current release, and I suspect this is an issue that's been fixed since v1.69.0. Even if it's in a duplicate project, import the latest AC and give that a try.
Oh I think the issue was indeed local vs game-wide. I had set Player in "Character settings" but still had a local version. Thanks!
