Sorry to bring this back up, but the problem seems to actually be regarding actionlists that are running from within ANOTHER actionlist i.e. I have an actionlist that then calls another actionlist with the subtitles.
They will play regardless of wh…
UPDATE: I've realised that it's easier to assign a mouse 1 key in the Input Manager under Skip so the player can simply simulate a right-mouse click by tapping simultaneously with 2 fingers and it works perfectly. Thanks for your time though Chris, …
Thanks Chris.
I've tried attached the script to the Videoplayer and also tried attaching it to an empty gameobject.
It works to an extent and skips, but if there are queued videos, it sometimes skips those too instead of automatically skipping to …
Chris, this is ALMOST working now, I can't thank you enough!
Now, it starts on controller by default and that's fine, it all works beautifully. However, once clicking the mouse button it DOES work, but the first choice in the conversations are stil…
Removing that line seems to have changed nothing at all. The 3 'Directly Navigate Menus' get checked and the mouse is still acting the same. Once the mouse uis moved or clicked the 2 Directly Navigate Menus still stay checked.
I'm using AC 1.72.3.
Here's my cursor setup. Switching the hardware doesn't seem to make any difference.

My menus are Unity UI. I have no custom EventSystem prefab applied in the menu manager.
I've noticed that the menu manager for the …
Chris, thank you SO much for your time and effort, it is most sincerely appreciated!
I fixed the auto-select first element issue so that's sorted.

The Lock Cursor in Screen's Centre When Game Begins is unchecked. Checking it makes no difference.
Mouse/Keyboard works flawlessly when all 'navigate menus directly' are deselected and Mouse/Keyboard is chosen as the input met…
Thanks Chris, but I'm greeted with the game cursor locked in the centre of the screen now. The system cursor works and I can click with that but the buttons don't 'highlight' as they did before...
Am I missing something?
Thanks Chris!
I'll try this very soon. I presume I need to add this to every scene to allow the player to switch whenever, should they wish to?
Also, I've noticed that in Keyboard and Mouse mode, the 'auto select first element' still has the firs…
"keyboard/controller can be made use of by unchecking Disable mouse when keyboard-controlling Unity UI Menus? at the top of the Menu Manager."
This feature doesn't seem to be there any more and I can't get the cursor to appear when set to…
Oddly enough it seems to have somehow fixed itself now. ABSOLUTELY BAFFLED. However, now it will only run on the device if certain scenes are left out of the actual build. I'm guessing that's to do with faults in the scene?
The error shows as soon as the project is started.
I've tried with the menu scene and that does load but there's a video in the background that doesn't. Also, the UI menu is all wonky and partially off-screen.
That's the only error log that it thr…
Ok, I've managed to do that. The console on my Android device simply reads:
