Can you help me with this? In every part of my game I want the player to be allowed to skip subtitles with a tap, EXCEPT during conversation. Right now I've written a script to toggle off Subtitles Can Be Skipped and Can be Skipped with screen taps. The script is indeed toggling the speech manager options, but it's not really working as I'd hoped.
I'm using the AC Conversations menu. I'd like for the text to appear as the speech audio plays without the user being able to tap to skip the subtitles or the audio. Then, when the audio stops, the conversation option buttons appear. Only then can they choose their response.
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

When are you affecting the Speech Manager fields, and what is the behaviour it's achieving?
AC is only considered in "Conversation" mode when the options are actually showing - any dialogue and other ActionList logic that runs as part of an option being chosen places AC back in regular "Custcene" mode.
Are you looking to prevent skipping if a Converation is set to appear after the current sequence ends? If so, you'd need to prevent skipping at the start of that cutscene block.
Awesome. Invoking my script at the start of the cutscene worked, thanks.
