Unity 2022.3.62; AC 1.85.1
I have my InGame menu set to appear During Gameplay. However when I lock it via Action List, it pops back up. I'm not sure why this is happening. There are no other Action Lists telling it to Unlock or to Turn On. Is there a better way to set this up?

I cannot reproduce such behaviour. How long after turning off does it pop back up, and can you share screenshots?

The 3 icons in the lower left are my inGame menu. When I choose the gun from inventory, the menu is set to Turn Off or Lock (neither works). The crosshairs is a menu that turns on, but then the InGame menu pops back up. It's set to appear During Gameplay, but in other scenes it stays hidden.
Is that to say that this issue is only occuring in this particular scene?
If the Menu is displaying while set to appear During Gameplay, then is should only either because its been unlocked - or the game is not in Cutscene mode.
You can check the game's current mode ("Game state" in AC terminology) by enabling the AC Status box at the bottom of the Settings Manager. Is it set to Cutscene or Normal at the time it turns back on?
The mode never goes to Cutscene. It stays in Normal the entire time, before the menu disappears and when it reappears.
Okay I think I figured out what was going on. My Inventory Menu had an OnClose Actionlist that was turning the InGame menu on. The reason this wasn't happening in other scenes is because I am specifically calling an ActionList from the InventoryUse of the gun. It's the only item that behaves that way. Sorry to waste your time on this, Chris. But I'm happy to lear about the AC Status Box. Thanks!
I have one last question: When should I be using Unlock Menu/Lock Menu as opposed to Turn On Menu/Turn Off Menu?
