Switching Camera Views with Hotspots: How to Avoid Seeing Two "Players"?

Hi there,

I'm creating a test 2.5D game.

I've set up a couple of areas and game cameras for each, using Hotspots to switch the active camera between areas.

However, when moving from Living Room -> Bedroom, the camera switches as it should, but now I see two views of the Player.

So far as I can tell, this occurs because the Living Room Camera is originally set as the active camera. The Living Room Camera points in the direction of the bedroom, and can see what is inside the bedroom as well as what's inside the bedroom.

After switching from the Living Room Camera to the Bedroom Camera, for some reason I am then able to see the Player from both the Living Room and Bedroom Camera perspectives simultaneously.

Is there a way to deactivate the Living Room Camera's view of the Player after switching to the Bedroom Camera?

  • What's your Unity version and render pipeline?

I think I'd need to see this for myself. Would it be possible to PM me your project as a .zip file, without the Library folder?
