Music volume in options also control sfx volume

Hi

I'm using the standard options menu (with only the graphical assets changed), but when I adjust the music volume, setting it to zero, for example—it also affects the SFX volume.

Meanwhile, the SFX slider doesn't seem to do anything. ^^'

Any idea why?

Thanks in advance

  • What are your AC/Unity versions, and are you relying on Audio Mixer Groups for volume control?

In the Options menu in the Menu Manager, check that the sliders affect the correct volume types - i.e. Music affects Music etc.

If so, what kind of SFX is being affected? Locate a typical Sound object in your scene and view its Inspector - does it have its "Sound type" set to SFX?

  • Hi Chris,
Thanks for your answer, I didn't use the Audio Mixer Group but now I do, it didn't work either ^^'

    My Unity version 2021.1.15f
    Adventure Creator : v1.82.4

And here are my various parameters, menu etc :

    Thanks in advance !

  • Your SFXSlider element's Linked Slider is set to Slider music - did this get changes? Set it to Slider sfx and see if that resolve it.

  • Yeah... It was just that.
    Sorry ^^'

Thanks a lot, it's working perfectly now !
