Button's Click Texture bug?

I'm using Unity 2021.3.16f1 and AC's newest version. I just found this one. Not sure if it's a bug.

My menu has buttons with Click type: Run Action List. When I set an ActionList like in the image below, the button's Click texture doesn't work. I have to add an Engine: Wait 0,1s in front of the ActionList to make it work again.

  • Does the Menu pause the game, and what are the ActionList's properties?

    If you can share screenshots of the Menu/Button in the Menu Manager, that'll help clarify the situation.

    Here are the menu setup and the ActionList. All the buttons are the same. Others are just Graphic and Label

  • I'm afraid I can't recreate the issue. What's the exact behaviour you're getting - that the click texture shows, but doesn't fade away, or doesn't show at all?

    Does the issue remain if you temporarily remove the call to run the Keypad_Check ActionList?

    Quick test: open up AC's MenuButton script and try removing the following inside the RecalculateSize function (around line 592):

    clickAlpha = 0f;

    Does that resolve it?

  • I found the problem. When I set ActionList to run for the button with Menu: Change state - Show menu element on top of the ActionList, the Click Texture won't show at all. It's not a big problem to me. I just want to let you know in case it's a bug or something. Thanks for the support, Chris!

  • Thanks, I'll have a look into it.
