1 option is not gathered in speech

Why is "Hello Officer" not gathered?

And I get this error, not sure if its related: GUI Error: Invalid GUILayout state in AdventureCreator view. Verify that all layout Begin/End calls match
UnityEngine.GUIUtility:ProcessEvent (int,intptr,bool&)

  • I added more options and only the first entry is collected :( Why?

    Other speech are collected correctly

  • Is this an ActionList asset file, or one in a scene?

    I don't see the words "Hello Officer" in your screenshots - the three lines visible all appear to have been gathered.

  • Conversation options are not the same as speech lines - you need to set the Speech Manager's Type filter to Dialogue Option to view them.

    If an option has been gathered, and assigned an ID, it'll be displayed in its Properties panel in the Conversation Inspector.

    I did that. I see the list now but no filename for the voice over like I see in the speech area

  • Conversation options are on-screen labels only - they are not spoken directly, and so do not have associated voice-over.

    If you want the Player to say the line that displays on-screen, create an additional Character: Speech Action that explicitly says the same text as the chosen option.
