How do I get rid of "menu" in the corner, and also have the menu triggered with a key, and the inventory triggered with a key? Ideally I want nothing on screen until the player taps for it, maybe a tiny crosshair is ok
Hmm now the cursor is also moving all over not in the centre, what setting is that, there is something about AC which makes it really difficult for me to grasp whats going on.
Look under "Interface settings" in the Settings Manager for the various cursor-lock options.
And @rgdyman is correct: the default Menu is completely customisable. To remove the menu at the bottom-left, go to the Menu Manager. The menu in question is called InGame - select it, and you can either delete it, or lock it off, and it'll no longer be shown.
Thanks guys, I set both ingame and inventory to "input key" M and I respectively, now the menu doesnt appear in the bottom right (good) but pressing I or M doesnt seem to bring either of them up.
Also strangely above my cursor I have the word "Hotspot" floating there no matter where I look.
The "M" and "I" are input names, not the keys themselves - you still need to define them in the Input Manager, as you do the "Menu" Input that the Pause menu already is.
The Hotspot text refers to the Hotspot menu - if you modified it, then you'll have to revert it back. The menu should have an "Appear type" of "On Hotspot", and the HotspotLabel should have a "Label type" of "Hotspot". Once that's set up, the hotspot label will show up the name of any Hotspot the mouse is currently over - if you've made a Hotspot named "Hotspot" that covers the screen, then that's what'll appear in the Hotspot label.

Go into inventory and set the appear type to key input
