An NPC of what animation engine? The walk speed can generally be changed using the Character: Animate Action, with a Method value of Set Standard. When changing the Walk animation, you have an option to change the speed. Placing such an Action in your scene's OnVarChange Cutscene will have it run when a variable changes.
This is gold! Amazingly fun to use the features in all sorts of creative ways.
I just made a prototype of a train/car minigame(can't believe it can be done in a matter of minutes more or less - with help from this awesome community) where, an npc following a path and having different speed based on the set action and change speed. I have tried to think of a way to "reverse" on the path without the NPC, turning around? (ie a vehicle still facing the same direction but reversing instead of moving forward)
Love the feature includes acceleration, deceleration etc..makes it perfect for such a little minigame with a car/train stopping slowly, and starting slowly.
Any direction would be much appreciated.
