Hey Chris,
I've run into a strange bug very late into a project- and was hoping you could assist.
The issue is, if I try to load any other scene after exiting and returning to the menu, the game state immediately changes to Paused. It doesn't matter if that scene has been previously loaded or not.
The only way around the issue is to open and close the in-game menu, and the scene will continue as expected.
I've tried loading any other scene from the in-game menu (and loading just a misc scene when hitting exit) and the game still pauses so it isn't an issue with the main menu etc.
At first I thought it might be the pause menu not turning off and resuming the gamestate before switching scenes- but I've even put in a wait for a few seconds and the issue persists.
I've tried everything I can think of, and I'm at a loss now... any help would be greatly appreciated!

What are your Unity and AC versions?
By "load", do you specifically mean loading a save-game file, or just switching scene?
If the Pause menu isn't on, it sounds like it's likely some very specific combination of factors that are causing this issue. If you can create a cut-down project that has e.g. two scenes with steps to reliably recreate the issue, PM it to me and I'll take a look myself.
Sorry- yes by load I mean just scene switching.
I'm running 20201.1.6f1 and AC 1.71.4
I'll create a cut-down project shortly.
Make a backup and try the latest AC release - this may have since been resolved.
Thanks Chris, issue has been resolved after upgrading. Not sure what was causing it- but all good now. Thanks for your help.
