Tank controls in 2.5D?

My scene runs fine with mouse and keyboard, and I wanted to try tank controls. However, Unity crashes whenever I try to run it.

What steps am I missing?

In Game Editor -> Settings

1. Movement settings: Direct

2. Input Method: Keyboard or Controller

3. Direct-movement type: Tank Controls

Do I need to do something under Edit -> Project Settings -> Input?

Well, never mind. When running the scene preview, the keyboard doesn't seem to work, but it works perfectly when I build and run it.
