Actionlist stops gameplay after running

Hi, I have a strange problem
I have an actionlist that picks up an item by adding it to the inventory then deleting in from the scene.
If I add it to the inventory and do nothing else then it works fine.
But if I get it to remove the item from the scene afterwards then the object disappears, the cursor disappears, i can't put any input in, click anything etc but it's not frozen because animations and music are still playing.

    In what AC version?  What is on the object you're deleting (+ any child objects)?

    At the bottom of the Settings Manager, check List active ActionLists in Game window?.  A debug box will then appear at the top-left when the game runs - what does it say when this occurs?

    Also, open up the ActionList Editor at this time to view the ActionList - are either of the two Actions highlighted?

    EDIT: Nevermind, I changed the action list to "run in background" and it works now lol, it was pausing gameplay for some reason even after it finished..

    Hi Chris, sorry for the late reply

    Its v1.60.4
    It has a trigger attached as a child object that links to an action list which has the delete from scene/add to inventory thing stated above.

    And the actionlist from the object appears briefly and then disappears as usual when it's finished...but I still can't move or do anything afterwards lol
