Possible Feature Request: Change Cursor Texture On "Mouse Over"

If it is not already possible (I could not find any relevant actions for it), could we get a new action to change the cursor (when using mouse-driven point and click interaction method with context-sensitive setup) when hovering over hotspots? I feel like picking up inventory items should have it's own cursor, as should activating speech with characters (like on Broken Sword), so the player knows what action their character is going to do.

(It may be that this can already be done and I've forgotten, as most of my AC time has previously been spent with a direct-controlled game project that I've put on the backburner for a bit.)

  • If we're both thinking of the same thing, you already can: the 3D Demo does this.

When the Interaction method is set to Context Sensitive, go to the Cursor Manager and check Change cursor based on Interactions? underneath the "Interaction icons" panel.
  • That is indeed it, yes. Thanks - we could do with a "like" button on this forum   :D
