Talk Idle and Talk when walk issue?

Hi,

How do you differentiate between walking and talk walking? Ie if i have my walk animation without dialogue set up and idle talk animations set up, how do I make it so my npc walks and talks when dialogue is set? On a path for example? I have my walk animations set up, but how do I integrate them in so they will be recognised?

  • If you want anything more complex than separate Idle / Walk / Talk / Run animations for 2D, you want to change your character's animation engine to Sprites Unity Complex.  This allows you to control your animations with Mecanim parameters, rather than having AC run animation clips directly.
