PNG backgrounds rendering lo res??

Hi,

I have just replaced a PNG background and the render in AC is lower res than it was on my last save and replace, any reason on this and how I can stop it happening?

This may not be the solution (also, you may have already tried it) but: have you tried setting the Filter Mode of the PNG to "Point (no filter)" and the Format to "Truecolor"?

Thanks for the suggestion, but this does not work for me. Oddly, not all my images are rendered incorrectly, just a few of them. They are all set to bilinear, and format 2048 compressed. When i update them, some of them lose there quality...

is it perhaps something to do with resizing in Unity, or resizing when i convert to png?

Here you can see the lo render on certain bg's compared to well rendered pngs, the original PNG files are all perfect:
