[bug] npc walk outside of navmesh

I have problems letting npc s walk outside of the navmesh

the npc keeps walking to the border of the navmesh after some time but should walk down.

Comments

  • The video is too far zoomed in to tell what's going on - the border of the NavMesh, details of the character's Inspector, the NavMesh's Inspector, and the value of the "Pathfinding update time" in the Settings Manager will need to be known.

    If you are outside of the NavMesh, however, know that pathfinding cannot be enabled.
  • I've included all the required information in this video

    the border is yellow
    the green marker ist the one the npc should go to (outside the navmesh)
  • Does it do this if you set the Pathfinding update time (s) to zero?
  • No, when pathfinding update time is zero then the npc walks as expected
  • Fine - fixed for v1.55b.
